Pedestal Files

Pedestal files are available with two small drawers and one file drawer (box/box/file) or two file drawers (file/file) in 20", 24", and 30" depths.

Pedestals are available in two drawer-front styles – standard contoured plastic pull (S) and recessed metal pull (R).

File drawers have high walls for suspended folders and extend out 100% for complete access. Box drawers extend out 90% of the way. Pedestal files have Grade A steel ball bearing suspensions for smooth operations.

Pedestal files ship with counterweights already installed to prevent tipping and can be used either under worksurfaces or in stand-along applications.

Mobile pedestals with easy-rolling casters make installation and moving a breeze.

Locks are standard and can be keyed the same as other office files.

Use under Maxon cubicle worksurfaces or freestanding desks. Can also be in stand-along applications for addition surface space.

Pedestals are constructed of double-wall, 22-gauge formed and welded steel for high durability and quiet operation.

Lateral Files

Lateral files are available in 30", 36" and 42" widths with 2, 3, 4 or 5 drawers.

Lateral files are available in two drawer-front styles – standard contoured plastic pull (S) and recessed metal pull (R).

File drawers extend fully for complete access with a safe interlock mechanism that prevents users from opening two file drawers at the same time. Grade A steel ball bearing suspensions provide smooth operations.

Hangrails adjust for letter, legal or A4 file folders. Five-drawer units include a pull out posting shelf.

Two-drawer units fit under cubicle worksurfaces or freestanding desk units. All units can be used freestanding; 2-drawer and 3-drawer models have counterweights to inhibit tipping when drawer is opened.

Locks are standard and can be keyed the same as other office files.

Use within panel workstations, under freestanding desks or in file center applications. Files can be placed against walls or in pods. High-pressure laminate worksurface tops are available in many configurations and coordinate with all Maxon furniture.

All lateral files are constructed of heavy gauge formed and welded steel for durability and quiet operation. They feature nine-point case reinforcement and a double-walled base to keep the cabinet square.
