Maxon appealed to me early on as a long time GSA Business Development Manager. It is the ‘perfect storm’ of quality, offering and value to the government end user. Systems Furniture Product Position:
TL2: Specified as true stackable panel system; the government embraces this Floor- to-Ceiling feature
Empower: Segmented panel look, plenty of cable management capacity to meet multiple usage requirements. Versatile Floor-to-Ceiling and 120 degree workstations for dispatch and control room environment. This line has proven invaluable to end users who need up to 32 data/electrical cable runs or have classified data routing requirements.
Parallel: Great look and functional for many medium and large projects; great value and competitively priced. If specified properly single stations can meet Government Credit Card 3,000 limit. This product line can be easily “Value Engineered” to provide a competitive product at a competitive price to win those proposals and get your end user standardized for future projects.

Free Standing:
Series 1000: Modular, quick to deliver, install and move. Most typical stations are configured under the Government Credit Card limit.
Series 2000: Biggest market is the government. Double wall panel construction, built to be durable and with a great look (properly maintained can last for decades).

Seating:
Task: Sierra and Kingston lines are fully adjustable ergonomic task chairs that the government consumes on a regular basis. Always a great add on to a project … the government can issue one purchase order
Executive: Mid Back, High Back and full assortment of EXEC CHAIRS are available with almost every Maxon line for the EXEC OFFICER.

GSA CONTRACT CAPABILITES
On maxongsa.com as well as maxoninfo.com, GSA dealers will find our official GSA Customer Information Sheet used in conjunction with our Commercial Price Book. Time of delivery is 30 Days ARO (After Receipt of Order). Discounts off of list are extremely competitive ranging from 62.9% to 70.4% depending on volume. Installation is negotiated on a case by case basis by the participating dealer depending on the complexity of the deliverable being offered. On orders over $500,000 List negotiated discounts are available. Contact the Maxon Bid Team in Renton or your Regional Manager for pricing strategies.

What’s one of the first questions usually asked when bidding a GSA project? The same one you ask when you go to buy a new plasma TV, car or boat…“What’s it going to cost me?” which equates to, what’s my discount? We often get that question so we decided to revisit Maxon’s discount structure and it goes like this:
