INTRODUCTION
Whew!! Can’t believe it is the end of the second quarter already for the federal Fiscal Year, time sure flies when you’re having fun! Things are going well for the Maxon Government Sales Team and they are only going to get better, all thanks to you, our GSA Dealers on the street. Last year was another record setting year and this year promises to be a repeat. It’s time to start sending out some government sales news and tips in preparation for the end of the state and federal government fiscal years.

HALF EMPTY OR HALF FULL
Instead of looking at the fiscal year as being six months gone, look at it as having six more months to plant, fertilize and water those GSA seeds so they will grow and bear fruit as 30 September draws closer and closer. Now is the time to specify those projects that have not been funded yet so that when you get “the call” from the contracting office or end user, you can execute quickly and capture those last second dollars. Being prepared and nurturing your relationships with your federal, state and local government representatives/end users will result in you being the first number they dial when it comes time to purchase.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Past GSA Exposition’s have been huge successes and this year’s will be no different. The dates for this year’s event are May15-17 in Orlando Florida, if you haven’t done so already, make plans to visit Maxon at booth number 831.
